686 x Scion Numeric Snowboarding Concept Car
Numeric is the world’s first car entirely dedicated to snowboarding. Made to celebrate snowboard brand 686‘s twentieth birthday, it is the result of a collaboration with Scion, and Spin Imaging, and was inspired by products and brands that have progressively pushed snowboarding innovations to new levels. For instance, the New Balance tires are the reflection of the NB686 boots, the roof is made of carbon fiber just like a Bern helmet, the windshield was inspired by Dragon’s APX frameless goggles, the custom seats look like Union bindings and the rear view mirrors integrate GoPro cameras. Finally, the car is entirely covered in waterproof and breathable snowboarding outerwear, including stitched panels, laser welded seams, waterproof zipper and mesh venting.
