Bichos Lamps by Martinho Pita

A very nice series of wooden lamps by Portuguese architect and designer Martinho Pita made with discarded branches of Portuguese Holm (Holly) Oak trees. “Bichos” has no direct translation but refers to some sort of wild creature. Due to the nature of the material used, each piece is unique with a spirit of its own, and light source made of textile-covered electrical cord running through in different ways like a blood vessel giving life to light. Enjoy!
