A very cool collaboration between Red Bull and Snap! Orlando which originally blends sports with art. Professional wakeboarders Mike Dowdy, Adam Errington and Dallas Friday strapped lights onto their wakeboards for light painter specialist Patrick Rochon to capture the “inherent emotion and creativity of athleticism”. Amazing Macro Images of Sea Urchins

Made as part of a project called “Plankton Chronicles” started by Christian Sardet in collaboration with the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and Parafilms, this beautiful video entitled “Sea Urchins – Planktonic origins” depicts sea urchin larvae grow and transform into bottom-dwelling urchins with rare macroscopic images. A fun series of animations created by 3 students (Kyra Buschor, Ännie Habermehl and Constantin Paeplow) of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg as part of the FMX 2013 in Stuttgart, Germany. “Our initial idea was to tell a high speed chase – but different to known scenarios. Imagine the story of a hunter pursuing a fat rollin deer in the forest – Hilarious! As we loved the idea of rollin’ animals that much we decided the hunter should also be an animal – even more hilarious – and everything should take place in the savannah since in this region we were given a bigger choice of typical wildlife hunting scenes”.
