Images of Earth City Lights by NASA

A beautiful series of images which were unveiled last week by scientists from NASA and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that offer an unprecedented look of planet Earth at night from space. These global composite images entitled “Black Marble” were obtained by using multiple cloud-free images from a new satellite to show the city lights in greater detail than ever before. Enjoy!
