Spaceport America by Foster and Partners
Spaceport America is located in the desert of New Mexico and was designed by famous design/architecture studio Foster & Partners (see also Apple Spaceship Campus) in order to host the spaceplanes of Virgin Galactic created by the visionary billionaire Richard Branson. “The sinuous shape of the building in the landscape and its interior spaces seek to capture the drama and mystery of space flight itself, articulating the thrill of space travel for the first space tourists”.
