Pool Shophouse by FARM Design
Formerly an old local shop house in Singapore, the “Pool Shophouse” is a stunning renovation project which was led by cross disciplinary design practice FARM in collaboration with KD Architects. Its monolithic lap pool defines the linearity of the space, guiding visitors from the front to the rear, and is emphasized by a a series of stairs that loop through the house while a central skylight pinpoints the vital interface. The old meets the new and perfectly blend together despite radical changes in geometry, height, and volume. We like!
